Great ground experience, new seat has the right amount of privacy and is very comfortable in both seat and bed positions, with plenty of well-designed storage.

Flight attendants present in the aisles for the majority of the flight. there were plenty of agents ready to help passenger upon arrival.
Bad Comments

The Toronto flight was delayed due to maintenance, so they missed our Chicago connection to Tokyo. JAL as a national airline is a disaster - little wonder it is in bankruptcy!

The service was an improvement over last time. The entertainment was average and lacking a real range of media to play and on my return trip home from Tokyo.

For ANA
Good Comments

Fast check-in, efficient, friendly, cabin attendants, delicious meals, wide variety of entertainment, frequent water and green tea offerings, spotless lavatories.

ANA ground staff who assisted me with getting on the next day's flight to NRT.Very good quality meals and plenty of drinks served with FAs coming by with drinks throughout the flight.
Bad Comments

ANA failed to alert passengers about its cancelled flight. ANA was previously known for its customer service (that we expect from Japanese airlines), but don't be fooled.

SFO-NRT, B777-200, return in economy class. Perfect service, excellent food. very clean. Everything was perfect except seat pitch length, very uncomfortable. Best service I've ever had, but worst seat comfort I've ever had in this round trip.
